I am confident that I can deliver engaging and innovative content for DMM’s social-first media campaigns. With mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud, 3rd party software, and editing workflows, from ingest to delivery, I manage projects effectively to meet deadlines. adidas Community is a digital network and resource using entertainment and education to create opportunity, access and impact for the next generation of pioneers and rulebreakers. It's a new classroom and window to the world, a space for collaboration and connection, a chance to create the future, starting now.
For the LA Phil, I collaborate with different stakeholders, including the Senior Brand Director, to capture and edit interview-based content such as a short documentary for their 100th anniversary. I also repurpose footage from a vast archive to compose short-form content for specific target audiences.
“Jamie has generated creative work that resolves our brand strategies and speaks to target audiences. He’s collaborated with members of my team just as much as he’s tasked to work independently with minimal direct supervision. I value Jamie’s sense for storytelling and attention to detail as the video work he delivers is engaging and speaks to our audiences at the LA Phil.”
I created content for different use cases, devices and audience experiences. Editorial and graphics work included:
Developed on-site short video content that guided guests as they embark on VR experiences, which included How to Train Your Dragon and Men in Black.
Edited & shot short-form social videos.
Made non-standard aspect ratio motion content with original and repurposed footage that ran as billboard advertisements throughout Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates.
“I could not have asked for a better creative partner in this scenario to experiment with authentic, organic, and playful ways to convey the Dreamscape experience to localized markets... A combination of right brain ingenuity and left brain organization allows him to simultaneously manage multiple projects from beginning to end. You can trust that he will deliver with poise and professionalism, passion and precision.”
Dreamscape is a new storytelling medium, giving people the opportunity to step into a story and watch it unfold around them as they explore cinematic worlds, characters and creatures never before thought possible.
For the release of new custom guitars at Gibson, I edit and post-supervise video content. I look for authentic ways to showcase the unique character of a guitar and engage their respective audiences.
Purple Mattress released updated products for 4 of their product lines. I edited and post-supervised all video content for the digital media campaign.
I edited, produced & post-supervised a 6-episode scripted series with MadRiver Pictures that won best drama director & writer at SeriesFest and screened at Austin Film Festival. I also cut the trailer below from the fully produced season.
I push boundaries with the short-form unscripted and scripted projects that I edit. My editorial work below includes working with a team on-site to live-edit social content for TOMMYLAND 2017, an ad with Quincy Jones and AKG for kbs+ agency, a short dark comedy with Margaret Cho, and a short doc about an artist who paints in Walmart, a short doc with Disney for Future of StoryTelling, and a series of POVs for anti-sex trafficking in the Midwest.
Thank you for your consideration
